Every time we deal with our hair, we actually take away a little more health from them. Every coloring, every drying, every chlorinated pool adventure exhausts our hair, that's for sure. These are external factors, as well as internal effects, which are even more important.
Diet, stress, medical conditions and medications taken, hormonal changes, and vitamin and mineral deficiencies can also affect your hair. By using special and natural treatments, you can support this from within. There are a lot of hair conditioners out there, but unfortunately, most of them contain plenty of chemicals. At first, it can beautify your hair and make you feel great. However, over time, these traditional hair treatments will cause negative environmental effects that can cause hair loss and dry hair.
Periodically applying a hair treatment can help repair damaged hair, split ends. What is actually great is that you can do natural treatments at home and use the ingredients in your kitchen cabinet with ease. One of my favorite options is the hair care method prepared with olive oil. This type of care brightens, revitalizes, and provides healthy growth. Read on to find out how to do it yourself and why it's such a great idea.
Using olive oil to treat hair is not a new invention. It has been used for centuries to strengthen shine, softness, fullness, and even hair. It contains some essential ingredients like oleic acid, palmitic acid, and squalene. These are all conditioners, compounds that condition the hair.
To get started, pour the olive oil into a small container or glass jar. Then add the rosemary, lavender, and lemongrass oils. These oils are excellent working oils for hair. You can change your condition using only olive oil, but adding these essential oils further enhances the natural quality of hair care:
Apply olive oil hair care to your dry hair starting from the roots towards the ends of your hair. Make sure the hair is covered well. Then wrap the hair with a hot towel. Leave the olive oil treatment in your hair for 30-40 minutes. Rinse.
